GDR Design ’70, London

At the Ceylon Tea Centre, located in London near the Design Centre, East Germany presented a showcase of well-designed consumer goods and technical products, along with photos of machine tools, cranes, and printing/binding machines. According to press reports, one popular highlight was the system of cubic containers that had been specially developed for the exhibition. The poster featured the logo of East Germany’s Central Institute for Design, which had organized the exhibition.
