Projekt
Projekt, a Polish journal launched in 1955, was one of the few publications to showcase visual art and above all design from both sides of the Iron Curtain. It provided in-depth articles on design trade shows and exhibitions, the design industry, and individual design works. It was also esteemed for its artwork by masters from the Polish School of Posters, such as Wojciech Zamecznik, Roman Cieślewicz, Józef Mroszczak, and Hubert Hilscher, all from 1956. The magazine, which was published in five languages, found recognition in other Eastern bloc countries as well.
